Her friends laughed at her when she wanted to dress up as Tinkerbell for halloween. She did not care. She stood infront of the mirror, admiring herself. She was very proud of herself, twirling around. Soon she would have to head out. Lucky her father was out of town, no curfew. Yay!
She headed to the door, grabbing her coat, and bag to head out.
She screamed and jumped back when she came face to face with an ugly green scary looking thing. She smacked the thing with her coat, trying to swat it away. A sharp pain hit her at one point. She dropped her bag and coat to see scratch marks on her arm.
Looking around she could not see the monster anywhere. She almost felt like she had dreamed the whole thing. That is when she suddenly felt like she shrank in a jolt. Then another jolt. She panicked. "Oh no no no no no!! I don't wanna become any smaller!!" She tried grabbing the door handle, as if trying to stretch herself taller.
Only it didn't work, she started shrinking with her feet no longer touching the ground. Soon her hands could no longer hold onto the doorhandle. She slipped, falling down, luckily landing on her coat.
She got up. The world seemed so scary big right now. And dark. She needed to find someone. She didn't feel safe. She started running, hoping to find someone.
