Task One- Halloween Night for Jack Empty
PostSubject: Task One- Halloween Night for Jack   Task One- Halloween Night for Jack EmptySat Nov 10, 2012 6:08 pm

Jack stomped his feet and blew into his hands to keep warm. He bundled his jacket closer around him and hissed, “Why exactly am I here this late?”

It was then that he heard the little kids round the corner. He gives a small smile and holds out a bowl of candy, leaning up against the front of the apartment complex. He didn’t exactly know why he was doing this, but it was fun. Plus, he was seeing people. Actual people instead of his apartment walls all day, that was a definite good thing. He chuckles and hands the little kids some candy, making small talk about what costumes they were wearing and how his costume was just a bundle of warm clothes. The little kids thanked him and ran off, looking for their next candy-giver.

After about another hour of giving out candy, the bowl had finally run out and Jack retreated back inside his small and very warm apartment. He slid out of his warm clothes and plopped down on the bed, lying down on his back and staring at the ceiling. There wasn’t much to do as his apartment had next to nothing. It was home however and he enjoyed it quite a bit. He picked up his phone and messes with it a bit. He could call Merida if he wanted, that would be silly though. He wasn’t the type to call someone just because he was bored.

He sighs and shakes his head, closing his eyes for a moment. Then that’s when he heard the screams. His eyes open wide and he throws open the window to look outside.

What was going on, he couldn’t even begin to explain. There were weird green bats everywhere! He heard the screams again and looked down to see a group of children being harassed by those…those things. They looked terrified and couldn’t seem to run fast enough to evade the things.

Jack leapt through the window onto the fire escape and sprinted downwards, leaping off once he was close enough to the ground to not hurt himself. He lands on the ground and grabs a nearby stick. Jack sprints to the children and hits a bat like it was a baseball, but that only got the attention of the other bats. Jack yelled but it was not use as the bats started tearing at him. The children screamed and Jack yelled at them to run. All but one did so,

“You run too mister!!”

Jack had no intention of following that order, the bats would follow the kids and hurt them. It was to his surprise that his feet turned by themselves and started running.

“What! No!” Jack yelled and looked back in horror to see some of the bats following him as some others followed the retreating figure of the terrified child.
