Syracuse Authentics {Tag: Odette}

Proteus picked up the box and began restocking the shelves of the store while his dad took his break. He hummed, blissfully unaware of what happened the night before since he returned home in time for work. He had to get the Halloween stuff down as wll.

Odette walk into the mall for some new things that she and her friends would need. She feel more sorry for Jazz then herself now. Odette walk past someone when she stop and look at him.

Proteus looked up and his eyes widened. This smell. It was a sweet smell blended with a stench of death. He looked around but did a complete 360 when he saw a blond girl. He tilted his head and moved closer as he could smell the stench but there was a honey smell as well. He turned away not wanting to stare at her too long.

Odette saw that he was watching her. Odette walk closer to him "Yes can I help you" asked Odette as she stand next to him as something hit her nose.

Proteus gagged as he was suffering from her smell. The aroma was intoxicating but sickening. He looked at her and turned away. "You smell weird." Proteus said as he finished restocking.

Odette look at him "Ooo I smell weird and why do you smell like honey" asked Odette as she back a little at him.

"I smell like honey? You are mistaken." He said with a chuckle.

"Maybe but why do I smell weird" asked Odette as she lean by the wall with her arms cross.

Proteus looked at her and turned away before making eye contact. Something was strange about this girl's demeanor. He couldn't put his finger on it.

"Well, you smell like honey on the surface but when I inhale too deep, you have a foul odor. It's like burnt meat." He said but quickly regretted what he said.

"Thank and how could smell that on me, when I don't smell like that" said Odette.

Proteus looked at her, watched her. He was fluctuating between the rise in aggression but the allure of this honey scent coming from this beautiful woman.

"Call it animal instinct." He said as he looked at her only vaguely remembering turning into an animal the night before.

"Hmmm so you are a animal person are you now" asked Odette as she flip her hair back. Odette was feeling some diffenet inside her body but she was trying to keep her cool. Odette know that if she change she could die as her eyes started to change into the red.

The smell of honey subsided and the terrible odor surfaced more. He backed away from her and held his face as something seemed to take over his body. He was heating up and his nails were growing.

"What the hell are you?!" He growled.

Odette look at him "One why would I tell you and what is wrong with you" asked Odette as she started to back up from him.

Proteus looked at her and saw her red eyes. He backed away and growled. "you smell of death and murder. Get away from me." proteus warned as he backed into a wall, knocking down a couple shelves.

Odette hiss at him as she change into her werewolf form and fell to the ground "Great now what do you do Odette" thought Odette.

Proteus felt his skin burning and his body contorting into this large beast. His newly formed claws ripped the flesh from his back and face as he narrowed his eyes at the girl who was now a wolf. He could still smell it. The rotting stink of the undead.

"VAMPIRE!" He growled before becoming a large mindless beast like before.

Odette look at him as she started to back up away from him. Odette know tthat he was half right about her as she look at him.

Proteus snarled as he turned into this large beast. He locked his muzzle as he dropped to his front paws, fully transformed just from the sudden smell she have off. His heartbeat was drumming in his ears as every fiber of his being urged him toward this small animal. He paused, silent and watched Odette for his chance to lunge at her. Then the noise returned as a scream broke his violent thoughts and he attacked.

Odette grab on his fur with her fangs ib the side of his neck as she was holding on a hard as she could. "So a full werewolf" thought Odette

He let out a howl of pain and threw himself on the side that Odette had latched onto in an effort to get her off. He flipped and bit her leg, throwing her away from him. As long as he could smell her, it wasn't going to allow him to turn back.

Odette moan in pain as she hit the wall and her leg was bleeding. Odette lay there no a second as she try to stand up but fell right back down.

Proteus looked over at Odette, sniffing her and debating on whether to finish her but could only smell of honey. He moved from her and was about to attack the normal humans in the mall.

Odette look at him going after someone else. Odette push herself up with all her might and ran over to him and push him and herself into a wall making a nice hole in the wall.

Proteus let out a growl when he smelled something that seemed familiar. He didn't resist it and ran pass Odette, throwing people or of his way and charging through the glass doors.
